One of my many inspirations for my charaters in "The Black Magnolia Society". Her picture sits on my visual board. I don't recall never knowing who this woman was since I was a toddler. If you've never seen "Stormy Weather" or "Cabin in the Sky" to name a couple, those are two must see films.
