How much devastation can one group of individuals endure? Yesterday morning Haiti was struck again with another earthquake registering as a 6.1 on the Richter scale. The earthquake, while strong, comes only 8 days after the country was decimated by a 7.0 earthquake. The damage has crumbled buildings, left 200,000 dead , and thousands injured or missing. With over a million people now homeless all hope seems lost in Port-Au-Prince.
However, where there is despair and uncertainty there is also optimism and love. Out of respect for those who have lost loved ones, their shelter and life's basic necessities-- UNDRCRWN joins the world in giving back to the people of Haiti. UNDRCRWN is now selling the "Assist Haiti" Charity T-shirt for the Haiti Relief Effort. Retailing at $20.00 (USD), all proceeds will be donated to YELE HAITI, the organization founded and supported by Wyclef Jean. Throughout the week of January 20th- January 27th, UNDRCRWN will also be donating 5% of our total web sales to YELE HAITI. We hope that our efforts combined with those around the world will help the people of Port-au-Prince and the rebuilding of Haiti.
